Biography

​

Jacqueline Trudel resides in Montreal, Quebec. She is currently training at Sheila Parkins School of dance and music, in Montreal.

 

Jacqueline has been dancing for 16 years and has competed nationally for 7 years. For a few months now, Jacqueline has been the dance coach for the John Abbott cheerleaders, where she developed and instructed various choreographies that were performed in front of hundreds. Jacqueline has performed in many dance shows, and has even participated in a showcase at Joe Lanteri’s NYCDA dance intensive, in New York City.

 

Over the years, though hard work and practice, Jacqueline has earned, many certifications in R.A.D, Cecchitti and ADAPT Tap and Jazz. She received several scholarships, such as the Hollywood summer tour, the prestigious New York City Dance Alliance Summer intensive, Paris Tour and Break the Floor Production summer intensive. She had the opportunity to work with many big names in the dance industry such as, Menina Fortunato, Joe Lanteri, Wonda Miller and Troy Powell from the Alvin Alley dance company.

 

Jacqueline debuted in her first music video with Bianca Requel and Celestina choreographed by Michelle Jersey Maniscalco in August 2013. Jacqueline has just completed a successful year a Lemming’s DanceWorks winning various titles at the American Dance Awards national competition in New York City this summer. Jacqueline will continue her training in dance, as she pursues a professional dance career.
